Spending time with my best friend <3

On the 21’th of June me and my friend went to Tórshavn, because we really wanted to see the film ‘The fault in our stars’.
The thing is that if we want to go to the cinema, we have to drive 45 minute with the bus and pay a certain amount of money just to come to the location, because we only got one cinema in the whole Faroese. So it is rarely that we even bother going.
But we decided to go, and I don’t even regret it, it was definently worth the money.
I was kind of sceptical about the movie. To me it just semmed kind of over the top and just a little bit too much… But it wasn’t! It was two hours of perfection and all kind of emotions; sad, happy, funny ect. I would definently recomende it to everyone !
After the movie we went home again. we bought some marshmellows, chocolate and biscuts and then we found a sheepfold that no one has used in many years, and we made a fire place. It was a really good day.

Cake recipe

So when i was analyzing stories and preparing for my final trial, when suddenly i was starving for cake.
I searched on google for an simple and easy fudge brownie and found this one.

It looks really delicious and it really is simple to make, but it tastes kinda strange. But it’s worth trying 🙂
Here’s the recipe if you want to try it out:
———————————————————————
You will need

  • 10 tablespoons (145 g) unsalted butter
  • 1 1/4 cups (250 g) granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons (65 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 rounded teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs, cold
  • 1/2 cup (70 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup (75 g) chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

———————————————————————
First you’ll have to turn the oven on 325 degrees F (163 c)
Then you have to melt the Butter, sugar, cocoa powder and salt together on a pan. After that you coll it to it’s warm, and not hot.
The next step is to mix the vanilla extract and eggs together with the batter, and last but not least the flour.
Then is’t time to spread it evenly in a pan and then in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Sometimes it need a little bit more.
